This display clock is so advanced that the earth actually rotates once on its own axis every 24 hours, while the moon travels round the earth in 29.5 days and also completes a full rotation around its axis. The moonphases that are visible to us from the earth are accurately reproduced in this complicated display 365 days of the year. If this wasn’t already enough, the clock has the repeater function, that strikes the time out on the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and hour, via the 4 bells. This incredible mechanical representation is all preserved under the hand blown crystal glass domed exhibition cover.
 This clock has the precisely detailed gold-toned solid dial that has the hand milled, deep cut rhombus pattern, and the hallmarked framed gold toned outer open dial. The clocks movement is secured to the solid wood, hallmarked, piano finished and gold overlaid base, via the 4 heavy gold edition overplayed pillars. This magnificent mechanical wonder is protected and preserved behind the beveled crystal glass, and access to the working is accomplished through the front and back beveled crystal glass doors in the convex style.This clock measures 13 3/4 " high and 11 3/8" wide. This amazing piece weighs 20 pounds. The clock comes with the original key and  original Patek Philippe glove.
